Dear Jamie,

I was very sorry to learn that your father had passed away. He was a true friend and great supporter of Stanstead College. On behalf of all of your friends here at your alma mater, I send you my most sincere condolences.

Thank you.

Carl was a gentle soul who genuinely cared for his fellow man/women. His contributions to people in need in the Northeast Kingdom and to those of Stanstead, Quebec will be long remembered and his legacy will live on. The world needs more people like Carl and he will be missed.

Thank you, dear Carl and Susan, for your support of Reining Hope over the years - your generosity helped to raise funds for children to participate in our therapeutic riding programs over the years prior to a change in business planning due to the Covid pandemic. I personally appreciated your thoughtful contributions. I am also thankful to have been able to work with the beautiful animals at your farm in another capacity as a Trigger Point Myotherapist and homeopathic healer for animals - it was my blessing for that opportunity and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did being part of the healing process. Susan and Carl, you both were such a part of the healing in our community, I will always remember all the positives you presented to inspire others! With love and gratitude always - xoxo

I always enjoyed my chat when we saw Carl at Shaws. He didn't really know me, but always cheerful and polite.

Susan and family- Carl was a dear friend and we shall greatly miss the idea of his presence on this earth. I´d generally run into him lately at the grocery and we would share quick updates on our lives, but fondly remember our early discussions on NAPI, Carl´s fishing trips and our mutual desire to love and protect animals. Love and hugs at this sad time.

Theirs a saying, only the good die young. Carl you will always be remembered from playing football in the front of your family´s home, to the days at Lear, to fishing. Rest in peace.
