Carla BEERENS Obituary
1957 - 2014
It is with profound sadness that the family of Carla Beerens announce her passing, with her brother William at her side, on November 22, 2014 at the age of 57.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Greg Stamer; children, Robin and Julian; mother, Dorothy; sister, Rita; brother, William; she will also be dearly missed by her friends at the Visual Arts Studio Association and the Edmonton Art Club.
Carla was predeceased by her father, Rolf, and son, Aaron.
A Celebration of Carla's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.

Carla was one of my dearest friends. Each visit with her was such a treasure to me. I learned so much and came away enlightened after each visit. She added so much to my life and I feel such a huge chasm in my heart with her loss. I want her back.

Our condolences to Greg and Carla's family....Carla was so special to us. We had so many wonderful conversations and connections over the years. We feel so fortunate to have several of her amazing paintings in our clinic and home and we will think of her every time we look at them. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched in person and on the canvas...

I was deeply saddened to hear of Carla's sudden passing. She was a bright light in the community, a warm and generous spirit. I will always remember with great fondness the conversations and visits we had, few that they were. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

Dear Greg and family:
I was so, so, sorry to hear of Carla's passing. I was moved to many tears because I know how much she meant to you and the boys and to the community. I remember the day you told us about her retirement. I am so glad she had that chance to enjoy a non-working life and explore the things she enjoyed like her family and her art! Please remember you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers and hopefully when the days are not so dark we can get together and share some positive things about Carla's wonderful life. Please if you need anything do not hesitate to contact me. All my love and prayers!
