Carla Rae Clark, age 76, passed away on August 14, 2024, in Royal Oak, MI surrounded by family. Born on August 12, 1948, in Cadillac, MI, she was full of love and kindness, touching the lives of all who met her. Carla never took life too seriously and cherished the simple pleasures like a good cup of coffee in the morning and hearty laughs with loved ones.

Carla was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Gren; grandchildren, Heather Pemberton, Sarah Gren, Rebecca Gren, and Anna Alexander; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Brooklynn, Benjamin, Jensen, Serenity, and Ethan; sister, Linda Putnam; and brother, John Tracy Reno. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmond (Bud) Clark; mother, Ruth Reno; sister, Paula Sundae; and brother, Robert (Bob) Reno.

A woman of many interests, Carla enjoyed playing Skip-Bo with her family, collecting unique salt and pepper shakers, and indulging in her favorite TV shows like "Young Sheldon" and the Hallmark Channel. Her love for the holidays was unmatched, and she always looked forward to having something sweet after dinner, her favorite being lemon cake.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Carla, with details to be announced. She will be laid to rest at Great Lakes Cemetery alongside her beloved husband, Thurmond. Carla's legacy of warmth, laughter, and generosity will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
