Carlos Castaneda Obituary
Oxnard
Carlos Rios Castaneda, 73, of Oxnard, Ca went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 after a struggle with cancer.
Carlos was a generous loving man always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Carlos was always surely to make you laugh or leave you with a smile on your face. You will greatly be missed by those who you have imprinted your love on.
Special thanks to shoreline facilities, TLC Hospice care and Garcia funeral services.
Carlos is survived by his children, Carlos Castaneda, Christina Castaneda, Anthony Castaneda, Karlabeth Castaneda, Johnny Castaneda, and many grandchildren, also his brothers and sisters Maria Hartman, Connie Gonzales, Lucy Castaneda, Frank Castaneda, Daniel Castaneda, Juan Castaneda and David Castaneda.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm followed by a Memorial Service at 7:30pm at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel in Oxnard.

Obrigado Carlos Castañeda, pelo grande legado de sabedoria que deixou para o mundo àquelas pessoas que buscam o caminho da espiritualidade, Leio seus livros e digo que muita diferença fizeram para mim e muito acrescentaram na minha vida.

To my brother Carlos , you will always be missed in our lifes, but we know we will see each other again in a better place , you have been a great example in my life since i was young, you thought me alot in the years you lived, you were pretty much all a family wanted, jack of all trades gifted in all you put your hands to , you save my life as a young boy myself. i really appreciate you carnal ,,,, i know for a fact that you're not suffering anymore. to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord.
