Carlton Weiters Obituary
Carlton, known to his loved ones as David, was a hardworking man and a jack of all trades. He had a passion for his craft and dedicated himself to perfecting anything he laid his hands on. His commitment to his community earned him the love and respect of those around him.
David attended Liberty Hill Elementary and Bonds Wilson High School. He cherished his family and is survived by his mother, Betty Ann Williams Weiters, his father, Author Marion Weiters, his children, Riley Gathers Weiters and Carlton Weiters Jr., and his brothers, James Weiters, Author Marion Weiters Jr., Deon Dupree, and Shaquir Dupree. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Weiters.
David worshipped at Little Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In his free time, David loved to work with his hands, utilizing his skills and creativity.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11 AM at Little Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at 4914 Nesbitt Avenue, N. Charleston, SC. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery.
The Low Country Mortuary, LLC, located at 1852 E. Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
