Age 36, of West Mifflin, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL, on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Beloved mother of Mackenzie Carlson; loving daughter of Marylou Whitney and Jeff (Dana) Whitney; devoted sister of Jennifer Whitney; cherished granddaughter of Irene Deutsch; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Since receiving her double lung transplant in 2017, Carly was a volunteer with the LifeLink Foundation, and was a passionate advocate for organ donation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville on Friday 2-6 p.m. Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m.

Carly we used to argue when we were younger. We grew from that. It would brighten my day when you commented on my pictures. I miss you. I wish we could have had one last face to face. When Jenny gave me the news I was crushed. I'll see you again. Until then say hey to everyone that's gone. Peace eternal.

To all the family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss of Carly. Losing our loved ones in death is so hard. 1Cor 15:26. May it be comforting to you to know God promises to undo the sting of death.
