Age 93, formerly of Duquesne, on April 8, 2008. Carmen was retired from US Steel-Duquesne Works. Beloved husband of the late Irene E. (Birsuda) Palmieri; father of Justine (Charles) DeBellis of Elizabeth, Carmen (Jane) Palmieri, Jr., of Upper St. Clair and Gregory (Barbara) Palmieri of Irwin; grandfather of Lauren (Keith) Appell, Christine Palmieri, Carmen "Joe" Palmieri, Riayn (Gary) Smith and Matthew Palmieri; great-grandfather of Juliann Appell; brother of Albert Palmieri of North Huntingdon, Irene Obruba of Tampa, FL and Joanne Mihalov of the South Hills; predeceased by brothers and sister, Mundo Palmieri, Neil Palmieri and Vickie Drylie. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 Kennedy Ave.,Duquesne, 412-466-3300. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, Saturday at 9:30 am.
