CARMINE P. SEBASTIAN

I have nothing but fond memories of Carmine Sebastian. He helped instill a solid work ethic in me and I carried his influence through all my working years. Sadly I am out of town and unable to pay my proper respects. Dolores, you and your family are in my prayers.

IN 1955 I BEGAN TEACHING GRAPHIC ARTS AT WESTINGHOUSE HIGH SCHOOL WHERE I FIRST MET CARMINE. HE AND HIS BROTHER WERE WORKING DURING THE SUMMERS AS GREYHOUND DRIVERS. HE URGED ME TO APPLY FOR TRAINING TO DRIVE. LITTLE DID I KNOW AT THE TIME I WOULD WORK FOR THIRTY YEARS FOR THE GREYHOUND LINES. I AM NOT ONLY RETIRED FROMM TEACHING BUT GREYHOUND AS WELL. I have such good memories of Carmen while working in PPS. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May he RIP....

I was deeply sorrowed to learn of the passing of my friend and colleague Dr. Carmine Sebastian. I knew of no one who was as exact and precise in his records as he was. In this aspect he became my respected mentor. I shall ever be indebted to me.

My sincere condolences on Carmine's passing. May he rest in peace. We worked together at Westinghouse high School in the 1960s
