1917 - 2004
EAST LONGMEADOW - Carmino Ralph Rinaldi, 87, died August 22, surrounded by his family. He was a machine operator for the Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Springfield with 38 years of service retiring in 1982. Born in Springfield he was the son of the late Erasimo and Ida (Gaetana) Rinaldi and has lived in East Longmeadow since 1961. During World War ll Carmino served in the Army and was a disabled veteran. His wife the former Helen R. (Dragoon) predeceased Carmino in 1988. He is survived by three sons Lawrence J. of East Longmeadow, Roger H. of Ludlow and Charles W. Rinaldi of Daily City, CA. He also leaves one daughter Joanne M. Johanns of Enfield, one sister Genevieve McCullum of Springfield, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to a memorial mass on Saturday September 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. in St. Michael's Church, 110 Maple St. East Longmeadow. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1818. Memphis, TN. 38101. The Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, of East Longmeadow is entrusted with arrangements.
