Carol was such a blessing to our family during the time I served as Associate Pastor at the Crown Point church. She cared for and spent time with our young daughters as if they were her own family. Both my wife and I as well as our girls will miss Carol greatly.

When we first told our girls the news, our 6-year old asked, "You mean Miss Carol's in heaven now?" We told her yes.

My sincere sympathy goes to Carol's family. I was a directress at Calumet Region Montessori when she volunteered there. She always had a smile and a helping hand when she was there. The children and staff were fortunate to have such a caring volunteer. Thank you for sharing her with us. Sincerely,

Anne Dorton

Carol and I were roomates our senior year at IU School of Music. We were both Music Ed majors. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her untimely passing from a mutual friend. My condolences and heartfelt sympathy go out to her family.
