Carol Sue Crosby

Carol Sue Morrison Crosby, 71, of Ladoga, Indiana passed away at home on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Carol was born February 28, 1954, in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Donald and Pauline (Boswell) Morrison of Ladoga, Indiana. She attended Ladoga schools and graduated from South Montgomery High School in 1972. On June 26, 1972, she married Whitson Riley Crosby of Roachdale, Indiana.

Carol held various employment positions through the years but spent the bulk of her working years at Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville where she would eventually retire. Her most coveted jobs were that of Wife, Mom and Grandma. In her retirement, Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, tending to her garden and farm, and researching genealogy. Her favorite activity during retirement was traveling with Whitson and his friend, John. They made many trips out west together and always had a wonderful time with many laughs and amazing memories.

She leaves behind her three children: Jennifer (Lee) Johnson of Spring Hill, Florida; Jason Crosby of Ladoga, and James Matthew Crosby (Amethyst) of Ladoga; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Whitson, her husband of fifty years, preceded her in death as well as their son, Chadwicke Riley. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Pauline, and sister Norma.

Per Carol's wishes, a funeral will not be held. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life in the Spring. Her arrangements were entrusted to Servies Funeral and Cremation Services, Roachdale Chapel.
