CAROL A. (nee Lawlor), on August 25, 2012. Beloved wife of Kevin M., Sr. Devoted mother of Ashley N. and Kevin M. Di Cesare, Jr. Loving daughter of Richard and Carol Jackson Lawlor. Dear sister of Darlene Petrowski, Richard and John Lawlor. Cherished grandmother of Layla, McKala, Caiden, Thomas and Allie. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Funeral Thursday after 8:30 A.M. from the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 E. Susquehanna Ave. Fishtown. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Holy Name of Jesus Church. Inter-ment Holy Cross Cem.

My deepest sympathies to the DiCesare and Lawlor families on the loss of Carol. A nice woman gone too soon. I remember meeting her one time at Pathmark when Ike was sick and she was telling me of the battle she was fighting but was so supportive to me. I will never forget her concern and kindness. Carol is at peace now and free from pain and I hope that is a comfort to you all. Her battle is over. May you all find the strength to get through this.

To Kevin Ashley and Kevin and the entire Lawlor and DiCesare families...words seem so small at a time like this...but I am so sorry for the loss of Carol...I remember her from the 5&1 softball games when we were young watching our dads play to the adventures we had as teenagers to finding her on Cedar St so may years later...I consider myself lucky to have known her and even luckier to have called her a friend...I pray you all find peace and comfort.
