We were best friends in Virginia, and we shared some amazing times together - a wonderful, supportive person. During some tough times for me, she and Joe welcomed me into their home (with my dog!) and treated me like a family member and supported me. We went through intensive National Ski Patrol (NSP) training together and shared many laughs and challenges along the way. During our NSP training, their wonderful daughter, Christie, played in the corner of the room with her dolls. One summer, they came to our cottage on Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire and we all had a wonderful time lakeside.

Many years before Carol and I met, her husband - still single - attended Belknap College in Center Harbor, NH AND worked at the local fishing tackle store - which my father frequented. Joe remembered my father.....so, unknowingly, I had a link to the Ferrari's long before I knew Carol and Joe.

Although some years have past since we were in contact, I thought about her frequently over these years.
