Carol Kjellberg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 4 to Feb. 5, 2024.
Carol Marie Kjellberg passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the age of 76.

Carol was the twist queen of her high school. Her love of music and singing threaded throughout her life. She played Peter, Paul, and Mary songs on the organ for her children every time it rained. Mom preferred Pepsi to water and would pick Circus peanuts over spinach any day of the week. Although she had limited mobility, Carol could still shuffle a deck of cards like a pro and had a long list of friends and suitors up until her last breath. A favorite resident with her Assisted Living Community (ALC), "I love your mom" was the resounding phrase we heard each time we visited. Eager to keep living, recently she and a friend snuck out of the ALC to visit a bird sanctuary. Oxygen never interfered with her desire to smoke. And make no mistake, she used the cigarettes to a good end, in barter to encourage more people to attend Bible study. A good listener, at the ALC, she would stay awake at night listening to the stories of staff and inviting them into her room for Netflix binging.

Carol Marie Kjellberg authored two books, "The Lindell Cookbook" and "The Life of Jesus". She started two organizations, The Prophecy Club and Aglow Fellowship, a Christian Women's Group that became a national sensation. She opened a fashion boutique in Cambridge, Minnesota, The New Charisma. Carol was skilled in crochet, scrapbooking, and sewing, especially Barbie clothes, and she was a passionate Bible scholar. Carol loved babies and being pregnant. Before bed, she would read Disney Stories to her children, leaving a lasting impression on their vivid imaginations. Mom loved to host slumber parties and other fun adventures for us kids and our cousins. One cross-country adventure we found ourselves in a Convoy with a seemingly endless line of truckers keeping us safe.- "10-4 Good Buddy.". Mom made magic of even the most impossible situations.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Micah Daily, Tamara Robbins, and Christine Denault, and her son, Robert Daily.

Details about her life celebrations are forthcoming.
