Carol Lamagdeleine-Epperson Obituary

Mother

When I look at you in a picture

I see something different

A photo holds no soul, no emotions or comfort

Just a figure, a face, something that I cannot embrace.

Your photo depicts age, broken and worn

When in person I see grace, integrity and warmth.

I choose to hold and cherish this memory

For in the passing of the body, is just a body

But a soul, your soul, is beautiful and exemplary.

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Carol Lemagdeleine-Epperson, beloved wife to Tom Epperson and loving mother of five and grandmother of many, passed away on the evening of October 4th after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Chicopee, MA.

Carol - or Lynn, as she was known to friends - was the owner of Carol's Flag Car of MA, and the administrator for HoneyBear Saints Webpage on FB, where she bred and sold pups.

Carol was known for her passion for Saint Bernards, her hearty laugh and kind heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Many battles were fought, and struggles were had, but we ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life and not the sadness of her passing.

Oh, I am so sorry for Carol's passing! We have not talked in years because we moved up to Maine and lost touch. But, you, Carol were such a good friend back when we lived in Granville! We had many good and sad times! I am so, so very sorry for your family and friends. You were always such a tough cookie, but also a mush in your heart. You were one of my best friends. Hugs and love to your whole family!!!!

You were my mom. You saw me through heartache, and children and laughed when I said you were right. Or how on earth did you deal with me. I love you so much. I am so grateful you are out of pain and no longer suffering. I will miss you dearly but continue to talk to you and know in my heart what you would say to me
