Carol Earlene Milata, 80, of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Carol was born on March 11, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Fred and Madge Humphrey. She was raised in Collinsville by her grandparents, Earl and Sylvia Evans.

A devoted mother, Carol worked at Springer Clinic while raising her children. She often took on additional jobs to provide for them, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to their well-being. Later in life, she retired from the state of Oklahoma in 2007.

Carol found joy in tending to her flower garden, listening to music, and watching HGTV. She will be remembered for her humor, kindness, and willingness to help others.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Milata; her parents, Fred and Madge Humphrey; and her grandparents, Earl and Sylvia Evans. She is survived by her daughter, Kim; her son, Scott; her grandson, Charles; and her sister, Merrilee.

Private services were held on October 10, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
