Carol Lee Robertson-Welch

Carol Lee Robertson-Welch, 62, of Rochester and formerly of Springfield, passed away on October 23, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 4, 1955 in Evansville, Indiana to Henry L. and Mary D. Hanes Rose. Carol married Robert Lee Welch on November 2, 2010 and he survives.
Mrs. Robertson-Welch is also survived by three children: Bree (Todd Wood) Robertson of Springfield, Allie (Josh) Kohlbecker of Seminole, Florida and Nick Robertson of Denver, Colorado, three grandchildren: Kylinn Mary Wood, Lyla Hazel and Hartlie Jo Kohlbecker, one sister Nance (Chip) Woodward of Springfield, one niece Elizabeth (Jim) Livingston, two nephews: Kelso Brent (Sadie) Ballantyne and Ryan (Stacey) Woodward and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Hadley Jo Wood.
Carol graduated from Springfield High School in 1973 and attended Lincoln Land Community College majoring in art. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Sangamon County State's Attorney's Office. Carol loved her dogs: Isabella, Sadie and Picallo and she was a good friend of Bill W. for over ten years.
The family will meet friends for a memorial gathering from 4:00pm-6:00pm on Friday October 27, 2017 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street.
