It was with such sadness that I learned of Carol's passing. I had enjoyed her company often at the Cananadian Women's Club while in The Netherlands. My prayers are with you.

It is with immeasurable sadness that I convey my sympathy to Carol's family. My last conversation with Carol was in May of this year when she attended the Tom Baker Cancer Centre volunteer recognition. She was invited to attend because of her generous donations of home make cookies for the Refreshment Cart Volunteer Program. Carol told me how much she enjoyed the chocolate fountain and the recognition event! Carol was also a valued volunteer of the Art a la Carte program here at Foothills Medical Centre. I recall thanking Carol for putting her arms around a distraught wife who was expressing her anger. This woman's husband was dying and this gesture completely calmed the woman! Aside from volunteering, it became general knowledge that Carol was very generous in inviting fellow volunteers into her home and for her culinary skills. May you rest in peace, Carol. You will be missed!!!

Patti my sincere condolences in the passing of your sister. How very sad to lose Carol at such a young age. I remember both you and her well from high school. Take care.
Sincerely,

Ken: My thoughts are with you right now. Carol was a lovely, kind and giving person. She will be greatly missed, yet remembered, by all the family.

Carol was a kind woman with a bright smile. I remember her coming in with her cookies she had baked for the Tom Baker Cancer Centre patients. She even gave me a recipe for her wonderful pumpkin cookies. Carol was a guest in my home last fall for a jewellry tea I had. It gave me another opportunity to know her a bit more. We will all miss Carol. I will miss her and will lift her up in prayer.
God Bless!
