Mom,
I will always miss your smiles, your hugs, your encouragement, your love, your "It's okay, honey", "Say 3 Hail Marys", and I'll pray for St Jude". You were the neighborhood mom with bags of lettuce and bundt cakes. You were the spiritual source, whether leading the church or leading the rosary. You were the head of the table, gathering all around for abundance or FHB meals. You were the brilliant business woman from coupons to rental houses. You were a mom, a grandma, and a great grandma. You were a great example for your girls.
You taught me right from wrong, to stand up for family, show the family crest when necessary, to stand up and start over, work hard and laugh often, and to love all children, most especially my own. You had your own spiritual connection with what we all swore was a direct line to God. Now He has brought you home. I will miss you, but am so grateful for the mom I had. I love you, mom
