Carol Yager Obituary
She was a member of Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren and had worked her entire life as a homemaker. She was also employed by UTA in Berne and waitressed at Coppess Corner.
Among survivors are her husband of 52 years, Glen W. Yager of Berne; three daughters, Lisa A. (Eric) Rosales of Syracuse, Natalie J. (Sam) Lengerich and Heather M. Schaffter, both of Monroe; two brothers, Leonard Schwartz of Berne and Richard Schwartz of Decatur; three sisters, Jeanette Koomler of Fort Wayne, Irene Watkins of Decatur and Floss Cable of Auburn; six6 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, with visitation one hour prior from 9-10 a.m. Pastor Jay Carter will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Dale Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials may be made to Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren Building Fund or IU Foundation-Parkinson's Disease Research Fund.
