Carole Camerota Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 3, 2025.
Carole Camerota, born on November 29, 1925, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, in Granada Hills, California, just one day shy of her 99th birthday.

Born to Mary Longo Peritore and Anthony Peritore, Carole grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. In the early 1950s, she began a new chapter by moving to Los Angeles, California, where she built a life filled with love, faith, and cherished memories.

Carole was predeceased by her two sisters, Anne Nardi and Suzanne Roesch, and her two brothers, Norman Peritore and Michael Peritore. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her.

A devout Catholic throughout her life, Carole found immense joy in her faith and actively participated in Church ministries. Her spirituality was a source of strength for her and an inspiration to those around her.

Carole embraced the simple pleasures of life with great enthusiasm. She loved tending to her garden-especially her roses-and found peace in cooking, reading, and needlework. Her home was a haven of comfort and beauty where family and friends were always welcome.

She will be remembered as a nurturing presence and an amazing mother figure to many. Carole's legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

May Carole's memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing and inspire them to carry forward the love she so generously shared during her lifetime.
