Carole FENNELL Obituary

FENNELL, Carole Rae Passed away of breast cancer Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Agape Hospice in Calgary surrounded by her family's love. Predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Ed Wallace, Carole is survived by her husband, Brian; her son Brent; her daughter Cheri and her husband Paul; and her brother Keith and his wife Maureen. Carole will be remembered by friends from Balcarres and Regina in Saskatchewan, in Edmonton friends from St. Paul's United Church, Woodward's Southgate and the Rotary Club of Edmonton South, and in Calgary friends and colleagues from Parkdale United Church, The Rotary Club of Calgary North, Newcomers, North Haven Horizon Village, the Cancer Society's Reach To Recovery and Weekenders. Special thanks is extended to Dr. Reuther and Dr. Hicks and the staff of the Day Care Unit at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their outstanding care and friendship, to Dr. Ramona Chrisohou, and to the staff of the Agape Manor Hospice for their care and support and the dignity and respect they accorded Carole and her family. A Memorial Service to celebrate Carole's life will be held at Parkdale United Church (2918 - 8th Ave. N.W. Calgary, Alberta), on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Email condolences may be sent to Carole's family c/o [email protected] Carole requested that floral tributes not be made. If friends so wish, memorial tributes may be made to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Alberta/NWT Chapter (#430-1324 17 Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2T 5S8) or the charity of their choice.
