I miss you so much, Mama. I trust that Daddy found you and that you two will never again be apart. You are loved so very much. I'm hoping you know how many people love you and miss you. Even though you are not physically here with us, you will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. It helps to know that you have Daddy looking out for you now. I know both of you, Mom and Dad, have waited a long time to be able to be back together. I miss you so much, Mama. I hope you found that happiness that you used to have when Daddy was here. I have to believe that Daddy is holding you right now and you are smiling so big that your smile makes the sun look dim. You deserve to find your happiness again. After Dad died, you devoted yourself to raising Kandi and me, helping Leon and Kiesha with home school, trying to keep our family close, which is a difficult task as we all got older.
Mama, you will be missed so much. It's already unbearable knowing you are not here to talk to. The only thing that helps is knowing that you are not struggling anymore, that we were with you to say good bye and tell you how much we loved you. I know that Daddy and Grandma are with you and I know you are so happy to your wonderful husband back and your amazing Mom.
Even though I know you have found peace and are finally one again with Dad, it's still very hard knowing you are not here for us or for your Grandkids. I hope you heard Olivia when she was talking to you. No grandchild has ever loved their Grandma more that Olivia loves you.
I just wish they could have made you better so you could have come home to us. I know you were trying with physical therapy. It just doesn't seem right not having you around. Throughout our whole lives; Michelle, me, and Kandi have always had you. Knowing we cant just pick up the phone or walk into your bedroom to talk to you is definitely not a good feeling. I do hope you have found peace in Daddy's arms and you are pain free. You being with Daddy, I'm sure you are so happy. You have waited so many long years to get him back.
We are going to miss you so much. I already do. I dont know what to do without you being here. I live you, Mom! As does the whole family. I've been trying to be strong for you, but the facade is starting to crack. I'm trying my best, Mom. I'm an emotional person but I'm trying to be strong. That is not something I can keep up for an extended period of time.
You will always be in my heart and my thoughts. I love you so much, Mama. I hope you realized how much you were loved.
Love always and forever,
Laura
P.S. please give Daddy a big hug for me since I know you two are together. I love you

I love you, grandma. You did a great job lighting our way to the future, after great grandma's light went out. It will be harder now to see the path before us without you. But I know our own light shines brighter, thanks to your example and in remembrance of you. We all miss you and love you.
