I'll always remember the first day I met Caroline. She bounced into my classroom with the cutest little shirt with an embroidered picture of her face and her name below it. The smie on the shirt matched her smile all school year long. She was such a sweet, caring, hard working first grader. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Caroline will always be, in my heart and my mind's eye, that little girl I met so many years ago who would romp around with her mom. May you all be surrounded by love as you get used to this hole in the world.
