Caroline Herzog Obituary
Caroline spent many years as a dedicated custodian at Rutgers University, where she was respected and loved by all that knew her. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, East Brunswick where she participated actively in church activities.
Her life was marked by her willingness to help others. Caroline's nurturing nature was evident in the way she raised her children and interacted with those around her.
Caroline loved to garden and travel with her longtime friend Myra. She loved her faithful dog Lucky. Another favorite of hers was to visit Englishtown Flea market every weekend she could.
Caroline leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Patricia Herzog of Springhill, Florida, and daughter and son in law Terry and Michael Beer of Monroe, New Jersey; and her son, Cliff Herzog of North Brunswick, New Jersey. She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Herzog, and her son, Gary Herzog.
A private family memorial service will be held to honor Caroline's life and legacy. Her life's impact will be long remembered by those she touched with her kindness and dedication.
