Dr. Caroline A. Rajasingh

EASTON - Dr. Caroline Anne Rajasingh, 57, died peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Gosport, England on June 16, 1961, the daughter of the late Jack and Anne Johnson.
Caroline graduated with her medical degree from the University of Leeds. After training in the U.K., she married Dr. Christadoss Rajasingh and moved to the United States in 1987. While raising her three children, Caroline completed a bachelor's and master's degree in elementary and math education. She taught at Maple Elementary School for the last 15 years. During her time as a teacher, she developed many lasting relationships with her students.
Caroline was an avid gardener, kayaker and fan of English football. Caroline loved traveling and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
She is survived by Dr. Christadoss Rajasingh; her children, Charlotte Rajasingh of Menlo Park, Calif., Elizabeth Rajasingh of Berkeley, Calif., James Rajasingh of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and son-in-law, James Bryant of Menlo Park, Calif. She is also survived by her two beloved cats, Smokey and Rupert. In England, she leaves behind a beloved aunt, Sybil Johnson; cousin, David Williams; and sister, Louise Jones.
A Celebration of Caroline's Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, 11:30 a.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, where the family will receive friends one half hour prior from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
