I was so shocked & saddened to hear about Carolyn's passing. I had prayed she would beat this horrible disease that has taken so many other friends and family members. Carolyn was such a bright light with a smile that always brightened up even the rainiest of days. I have so many fond memories of her in Basking Ridge growing up. May your memory be eternal Carolyn & may we all follow in your footsteps that happiness begets happiness & smiles are contagious!!!!

Carolyn was born sunny-side up. We shared many good times together back in the 1980s & 1990s. She will be missed but never forgotten. RIP Carolyn.

I was so very sad to hear of Carolyn's passing. I met her several years ago at an early morning fitness class at the Core Connection. She was always full of energy during class and always had something fun to add to the conversation. I send my deepest condolences to her entire family.

To The Ambrose Family,
We are all so saddened for the loss of a neighbor
who was always a light shining bright, even thru
cancer treatment. Your wife, your mom fought an
incredible battle with amazing grace and dignity.
She was not going to be denied the opportunity to live life with her illness. And so she lived and loved,
with smiles and warm greetings for many of us.
I'm sure she will never be forgotten by her oncologist and the many health care workers who got to know her. She touched so many lives.
We were also a witness to you Greg, in providing
such devotion and commitment to Carolyn.
You kept her going with your nutritious shakes and even the many walks you took with her.
Carolyn saying she was getting her steps in and
you adding, I can always use the excercise.
Just want you to know you are in our daily thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you with peace and strength in the days ahead. May the many memories you shared, and continue to share, sustain you and bring brightness to the days ahead.
Love,
The Quinlivan Family

Carolyn and I bonded as neighbors, and friends, over our mutual love of flowers. We visited each other's gardens, exchanged perennials, and marvelled at the beauty nature offers. Her smile was contagious! She had a zeal for life that I so admire. Glad that we had the chance to visit Tower Hill just a few weeks ago, while the tulips & daffodils were at their peak. We both enjoyed that afternoon very much, with a delicious ice cream at Davidian's afterward to top it off!
Our deepest sympathy, Greg and Alexandra, Pete, Chad. Your wife and mother was a fine person and will be sorely missed. You are in our hearts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this news ... to the Ambrose and Wedholm families, my sincere condolences.
Our moms taught together at Cedar Hill.
We went to school together for years, but never really talked until senior year when the press box needed to be painted . . . "CW, AZ, EN and LM did it!"

Dearest Greg, Alexandra, Peter & Chad...We know there are no words that will ease your pain at this difficult time, but you know as well as we do what joy Carolyn brought to so many. You listen carefully during these next few days and take it all in. You will be challenged to get caught in the grief, but have the courage to really listen to the memories that will be funny, warm & some even new to you. So many people shared in your mother's life and she gave laughter, love and care. Remain strong and courageous. She was a strong woman, one-of-a-kind really. I am sure a lot of her greatest characteristics have been passed on to you. You were blessed to have her in your lives and she showed you esp in the past several years what it was to really live. To be brave. To love life and family and friends. God Bless You and may you hang on to all that she offered in life. Take care of yourselves and your Dad. The Heller Family

To the Ambrose Family,
I write with sincere condolences regarding Carolyn's passing. I had never met her but she graciously donated tickets and parking passes to the Hanover Theatre for a Worcester-area spin-a-thon fundraiser I ran for my friend back in 2017. Perhaps Carolyn was touched by Erin's story (she is battling Stage IV breast cancer). I did not know when I received the tickets and Carolyn's simple note wishing us good luck that Carolyn herself was also battling cancer.
I hold you all in my prayers and hope that, with time, you will find peace and comfort in your memories of her. May she Rest in Peace.
Sincerely,
Brianne Spellane

To the Ambrose/Wedholm clan, I am so sad to hear about Carolyn's passing. I knew Carolyn from Ridge growing up a year ahead of her with Kathy. I remember her so well in her cheerleader uniform like it was yesterday. I also attended Keene with her and we ran in similar Greek social circles. She was a bright light taken way too soon. I am so sorry for your family's loss and I hope when the time is right, you find happiness and laughter in your memories.

My condolences and prayers go out to Carolyn's family.
I feel blessed and fortunate to have been born during a time and to have lived in a place that allowed me to have met and spent time with Carolyn. She lit up the world! Her smile and her humor were infectious. Her beauty, her genuineness ... everything about her presence made you happy. I am so glad that we were friends and that we had good times and laughter together. She will never, ever be forgotten and will always be missed. Her friend always, and sometimes Bunco partner, Denise

Peace, love and courage to the family and friends of Carolyn. When I first met and worked with Carolyn, she was already challenged by cancer, yet she ALWAYS shared peace, love and courage with me as often as she could. She gave me great parenting advice, told me stories of her family, we shared gardening advice and desktop bouquets and we tried not to talk politics (LOL) ... but however our conversations came to a close, they always left me with a giggle or a smile.
