Vernie E. Rearic

Vernie E. Rearic, 99, of Winfield Township, formerly of North Apollo, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Fair Winds Manor, Winfield Township. She was born Dec. 9, 1906, in Ford Cliff to the late Harry and Mae Rearick Hileman and lived in North Apollo most of her life. Mrs. Rearic was a homemaker, a member of North Apollo First Church of God and the North Apollo Senior Citizens and a charter member of the North Apollo Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. Also predeceased by her husband, Dale Rearic, who died in 1974, and brothers, Homer, Paul, Ralph and Raymond Hileman. Surviving are daughter Virginia (Robert) Beck, of North Apollo; granddaugter Bobbi (Mark) DiMaio, of New Kensington, and several nieces and nephews. Private visitation was in the GERALD J. MEDICE FUNERAL HOME, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, where a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ray Himes officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Kiski Township.
