Audrey,
I only learned today of your mom's passing. I am so sorry. She was a very good friend to me when I started my teaching career and for many years thereafter.

We were neighbors with the DeVilliers
family in Quapaw during the 1920-30's. I
babysat Sue and Rod when they were small
children. My cousin, Floyd Hayden, married Sue's sister Eleanor. I have kept in touch with Sue over the years and have appreciated her friendship.
We have lived in Oregon since 1939 and I will be ninety nine years old in
November.

Although not actually a relative, Sue and I shared some relatives by marriage. I for one will miss the cheery redheaded lady from across the street that I knew growing up. She was indeed special.

I am going to miss her. She was a wonderful lady. And the greatest person you will ever know.

To the family of Sue. Sue was married to my cousin, Bud Herren. We always liked her so much. So sorry to hear of her passing. Her family was also friends of my husband, Jim Rice
