Carolyn Keighley Obituary
Born in East Orange, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Winifred (Smith) Provost. She was married to Thomas J. Keighley for 47 years. He died in 1991.
Carolyn was a graduate of the University of Vermont, where she was a member of the bowling team. She was also a member of the Woodland Golf Club in Aburndale, and the Woods Hole Golf Club in Falmouth.
She is survived by four children: Kathryn Healey and her husband, Paul, of Hopkinton, James T. and his wife, Carol, of Quechee, Vt., Jane Noack and her husband, Jerry, of Madison, Wis., and Patricia Keighley and her partner, Kathy, Bliss, of Norton. Also surviving is a brother, Ralph Provost and his wife, Jane, of Williston, Vt.; six grandchildren, Paul and Kate Healey, T.J. and Billy Keighley, and Rebecca and Jeffrey Noack; and one great-grandaughter, Neva Keighley.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset. Burial will follow in Oakland Grove Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Daggett Crandell Newcomb Home, 55 Newland St., Norton, MA 02766.
