October 4, 1952 - April 9, 2025

Cheyenne - Carolyn Sue Frazier-Poole-Washburn-Malmborg, 72, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away peacefully in her home on April 9, 2025, surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born in DeQuincy, LA, to Kenneth and Jenette Frazier on October 4, 1952. She graduated from DeQuincy High School in 1970.

Carolyn touched countless lives with her radiant smile and positive attitude. Her passion for helping others was evident throughout her 20-year tenure at both the Children's Clinic in Lake Charles, LA, and Spokane Internal Medicine in Spokane, WA. She brought joy to those around her, whether through her compassionate care or her enthusiastic holiday decorations and playful costumes that brightened the workplace.

One of Carolyn's greatest joys was returning to DeQuincy for class reunions, where she reconnected with lifelong friends and celebrated shared memories. She had an incredible way of making every person feel special, always carrying a spark that lit up any room she entered. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never fade.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Kent, whose love, patience, and unwavering support were a cornerstone of her life. She was a proud and loving mother to her five children and a cherished grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Jennifer Poole-Naquin (Donald), grandson, Ethan; Korey Malmborg (Katie), grandchildren, Lilly and Ellie; Michael Washburn (Bridget), grandchildren, Alice, Rose, and Thomas; Kody Malmborg (Jennifer); Sarah Washburn, granddaughter, Makenzie Daughdril.

She also leaves behind her dear sister, Charlotte Frazier-Pentecost (Joe). Carolyn was preceded in passing by her parents, Kenneth and Jenette Frazier.

In lieu of flowers, Carolyn's wish was for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
