Carolyn A. Paxson

Carolyn A. Paxson died on Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Crestview Nursing Center, Langhorne after a long illness. She was 66.

Born in Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Levittown since 1978.

Mrs. Paxson enjoyed bowling and spending time at the Jersey shore.

She was a member of the Blind Association of Newtown.

Mrs. Paxson was employed with Prudential Insurance Company in Willow Grove for many years.

Beloved wife of 33 years to Gene L. Paxson, she the loving mother of Charles "Buddy" and James Hower and Cheryl McNerney; devoted grandmother of 9 and proud great grandmother of 1. Mrs. Paxson was the sister of Thomas, Frank, Susan, June and Nancy.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County Association for the Blind, 4

I firmly believe that God has Blessed Carolyn after her long illness. I wish that I had known her directly; but I can say, through family I have come to see how spunky she had been. I know she lives on through her family! God Bless you all during this time.
