RICHARDSON CAROLYN "NAN" MORFORD
Age 92, of Verona, passed peacefully at her home on Monday, October 26, 2015. She is survived by her loving family. Nan will be laid to rest with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, alongside her husband, Air Force Major, George C. Morford. Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Professional Services trusted to THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., Blawnox.

Nana, I miss you so much. I can't believe it's already been 7 years since you went to heaven, I know you're happy and I feel your love and guidance every day. I am working hard right now in school, making you proud as I promised. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you, Zoie is doing well she's such a good dog. I love you so much Nanny!

I always miss you the most on our birthdays. You never wanted your birthday to be a big deal, but you always made mine so special. You were not my biological mother, but you raised me as if I was your daughter. I love you so much and miss you every day Nana. I hope you're having the best time in heaven with my great grandpa. I miss you so much and I can't wait to be with you again someday. I love you so much Nana, I hope I am making you proud.

Dear Nana,

I miss you more and more every day that passes. It has been just over a year, but not a moment passes without me thinking of you. You were there for me when no one else in the world was, and I will never forget it. I wish you could see me now, continuing to work hard and going back to college in January. You were such a strong woman and taught me more than you will ever know. I know you are watching over me and someday we will be together again. Thank you for loving me no matter what. The last time we talked you asked if you could come sleep over at my new house. It made me remember all the sleepovers we had as I was growing up. What I wouldn't give for one more... I'll love you forever and always try to make you proud.
