Norma Benjamin Bart

BART Norma Benjamin Bart passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2007 in her home at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late Edward Joseph Bart, Sr. and also the daughter of the the late Lawrence and Cecille Lodree Benjamin. She was the mother of (4) children: Cynthia Bart Dunnaway, Brenda Bart Batiste, Godfrey Louis Bart, and the late Edward Joseph Bart, Jr. She was the sister of Emmett Rudez Benjamin, Harriett Benjamin Simmons, the late Harold and Lawrence (L.D.) Benjamin. She leaves to cherish her memory (7) grandchildren: Roy Jr. and Edward Sr. Dunnaway, April and Sean LaSalle, Keshia Gray, the late Clarissa, and Clyaton Dunnaway; also (5) great grandchildren: Edward Joseph Dunnaway, Jr. Marvell Carter, Marisa LaSalle, Kayla Vinning, and Gabriella Rossit; (1) sister-in-law, Deborah Bart, (1) brother-in-law, Herbert Bradley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Our Lady Star of the Sea C.C., 1835 St. Roch Ave. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service begins at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Roch Cemetery New Orleans, LA.
