SACO - Carolyn Elizabeth White, age 75, of Saco, passed away on Dec. 10, 2018.

She was born in Waltham, MA on Sept. 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Bernard and Marie (Frazier) Doe and is a Thornton Academy graduate.

Over the years she worked as a retail sales manager for stores such as King's, Zayre's, Ames, and later Marshall's.

She will always be remembered for her love of traveling, going to casinos, cookouts, her perennial garden; however, it was her love of family and dear friends that was most important to her.

Carolyn is a longtime member of the United Baptist Church in Saco.

She is predeceased by her parents; and a brother- Bernard Doe Jr.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband Jack White of Saco; her three children- daughter, Cathy and her husband Mark Andrews of OOB, her son, Michael Doyon and his wife Karla of Saco, and Laura Brown of Saco; stepdaughter- Jennifer Thyng of Kennebunk; brother- Steve Doe and his wife Janice of Dayton; sister in law- Betty Sullivan of Pinellas Park, FL; and eight grandchildren- Brian, Nicholas, Tyler, Dylan, Taylor, Brianna, Ciara, and Michael.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 10 AM at the United Baptist Church, 318 Main St., in Saco.

Inurnment will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, Maine 04074.

Tomorrow December 10 will make 2 years since my beautiful wife Carolyn went home to be with the Lord. I still think of her everyday and miss her very much. I am not sad because Carolyn wanted me to enjoy life which I am doing with my family and friends. I love my Carolyn and I always will.
