To John Zerkel and Family,
The memories I will have of Aunt Carol will always be in my heart. She was always like a second Mom to me when I was growing up and spending my summers in Dayton/Englewood Ohio. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our prayers and thoughts are with you John and Family.

I fondly remember how Carol took me under her wing when Ned & I were first married, and that our big event of the week was going to the grocery on Friday night and getting a hot fudge sundae afterwards. Take comfort in knowing that Carol is at peace and may time's passing somehow help to ease the loss and sorrow.

Dear John and family,
We just loved Carol. We had so many laughs in the early years and so many good memories. She was a wonderful sister-in-law. Always so kind and caring and she had such a great sense of humor. Don and I will miss her. You and the family are in our daily prayers. Love to you.

I think the most I will miss of Aunt Carol is her laughter. She was always such a lively person with everyone. She enjoyed herself no matter what anybody said or thought. She got me hooked on Johnny Cash when I was only 10 yrs old.. Ain't nothing wrong with that! She always had me stay with her the summers I was there with my brothers.. prob just to get me away from Grandma. But, I liked just sitting and talking with her. We will miss your smile, Carol, and you will live in my mind and heart forever. Toni

Carol's in a quiet, peaceful, painless place now. May she watch over her family and guide them through good times and bad. Both John and Carol were there for us when we needed them as we were attempting to get our life started together. Carol was always full of life and laughter. Much love to her.. and to her family.
Tom's little poem to Carol:

always with a beautiful smile.

I miss you alot but you're in a better place. I will always remember that you LOVE roses. I will always remember you. I remember when you took me to K-Mart, and you came to grandparent's day
at school. Those things were a lot of fun.

Grandma,
I will never forget you and all the nice things you have done for me. You were not only a grandmother to me but also a mother. You may be gone but your memories will live on. Love you and miss you.
