Heaven is so much brighter today,
The streets of gold shine like never before,
One of the brightest lights is home to stay,
Walking with us here no more.
No longer does her smile lift us all,
Her tender care of everyone has departed,
For those of us left below all know,
The waves of good she made have just started.
Today we mourn her passing,
But in our hearts she'll always roam,
Up in heaven all are laughing,
Because God has called one of his angels home.
