Carrie FISCHER Obituary
With grievously heavy hearts, the Fischer Family mourn the passing of Carrie Hazel Fischer (nee Daynes) at the age of 82 years. Carrie passed away in the early hours of November 22, 2014 with her beloved husband Ben of 59 years at her side, in their home in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Left to grieve at their fathers side are the couples children, Bryon (Chuck), Lana (Doug, deceased), Kevin (Amanda), Loretta (Eddie) and a large extended family of caring, loving nieces, nephews, sister in law and a global community of friends.
A Service of Remembrance is to be held at Salisbury United Church located at 2 Mission Street, Sherwood Park, Alberta, on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 12:00 noon. A light lunch will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carrie Hazel Fischer's name may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, 208-17420 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta, T5S 1K6. Carrie's wishes for a private cremation and private family internment will take place at a later date at Glenwood Memorial in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The Fischer family wishes to extend a most heartfelt thank you to all the care givers, friends, neighbours and families over the past several months. Each and every one of you brightened her day with a visit, a phone call, a note, a card. You all made her day!

Hard to believe that is has been 7 years.

Sadden to read of Carrie's passing. Many years ago, Ben and Carrie were our dear neighbour in Pleasantview. All of their four children were so sweet and so polite. One of their four children was our first baby sitter.
We missed Carrie and Ben when they moved to Sherwood Park many years ago.
