Carrie Claudine Morrow

I met Claudine when I started going to Webb Chapel. Met her kids Benny and Sherry in youth group. When I think of Claudine - I think of friendship. I cannot imagine what my life would have been like without Benny and Sherry. We had so much fun together - shaving cream fights, going to the lake, firecrackers and just spending time together. Claudine had a great sense of humor and passed that along to Benny and Sherry. She also was a survivor - she was smart and determined that her children would have a good life. Claudine always welcomed a horde of us into her home and never made you feel that you weren't welcome. I can't imagine having that many kids visiting all the time and still being happy to see them. When I got a job at TI we rode together to work and had many good times and talks on those rides. She was a classy, attractive lady who I admired tremendously for being a single mother and doing it with such fun and enthusiasm. I loved her and love her children. I know she was proud of her children and wanted the best for them. Although she was the same age as my Mom I always found her to be open to new ideas and opinions. I never knew Cindy as well, my memories of her are when I picked up Sherry for school and had to wait most mornings for the usual fight about why Cindy had borrowed Sherry's makeup. This family enriched my life and the life of my family. Benny was a favorite with my Dad and Mom. I guess I would have to say to Claudine - god's speed on your journey and thanks for all the wonderful times we shared together.

Claudine touched every one that met her. So many good times at Webb Chapel when we were young. Touring Australia with her and my mom. Riding the Joy bus with 50 kids trying to sit with her. Her love and laughter will be remembered forever.

Mes. Claudine you will forever hold a place in my heart. Now you can be with Mr. Glen. You taught me so much and as you always said to me..."No matter what we are pals forever" I love you

She was my favorite mother-in-law and I was her favorite daughter-in-law. She always loved me and I always loved her. Nothing left unsaid. Never said unkind words to each other. Can't get any better than that. I live y

When I was thinking about my mothers obituary, it hit me how as a single mother for many years she worked multiple jobs. Prov. 31:10-31. She worked morning to night seeing that her children were provided for inspite of no husband or help. Love, Sherry
