Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023 at Pellerin Funeral Home for Carter Bryan Thibodeaux Potts, 16, who passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Rev. Shane Koch will officiate at the funeral service.
Carter was born on January 19, 2007, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He enjoyed working on his truck, playing video games, hunting, fishing in his kayak, and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ricky and Cindy Thibodeaux; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Sherry Potts; aunt, Amanda "Punki" (Mike) Youst; great-grandmothers, Betty Scott and Elaine Johnson Thibodeaux; great aunts, Debbie Thibodeaux, Sandie Thibodeaux, and Vickie Thibodeaux (Greg) Barilleaux; great uncle, Kevin Thibodeaux; and his cousins, Cody Johnson and fiance Mackena, Shaylnn Laviolette, and Paige Poole.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Katy Danielle Thibodeaux; great-grandfathers, Wilson Scott and Wilbert "Papit" Thibodeaux; great-great grandparents, Wilbert and Hazel Johnson; and his uncle, Chris Thibodeaux.
