Casey Lawson

Casey James Lawson, 31, of Fairview, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2024.

Casey is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jay and Beth, and his siblings, Aidan and Ellie. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Casey's love extended to his four cherished dogs, Tux, Cash, Lady, and Bodhi, who were family to him.

Casey was born in Voorhees, New Jersey, on October 1, 1993. He called many places home in his life in both New Jersey and Tennessee.

Casey was known for his kindness and generosity which were seen in his passion for rescuing dogs. Casey had a gift for connecting with animals, opening up his home to four rescues and helping save countless others through his work at Camp Wag Dog Rescue.

Casey held his values close to his heart. He passionately stood up for what he believed was right. If there was someone who needed help, Casey would do anything in his power to be there for them.

One of Casey's biggest passions in life was cars. He could tell you any year, make, or model of any car from a very young age. His truck was one of his most loved possessions. He loved to cook, always finding new recipes to make.

As we celebrate Casey and his mark left on the world, we remember his love for the holidays. He always showed his love for his family and friends through his thoughtful gift giving. The greatest gift Casey was able to give was his heart through DCD organ donation.

Although Casey will be deeply missed, he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to do a random act of kindness for someone to celebrate Casey's life. Donations can be made in his honor to the American Lung Association or an animal rescue of your choice.
