Cassandra Jones Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 30, 2025.
Cassandra Ayn Jones filled every day with joy, love, and laughter. On July 19, 2025, at the age of 36, she passed away suddenly from a pulmonary embolism while on vacation with her family in India. She was born on December 29, 1988, in Modesto, California, and was raised in Loveland, Colorado, where she excelled in soccer, cross country, water skiing and playing the violin. Cassie graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 2007 and later earned her Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.

Cassie married Jason Jones, the love of her life, in January 2009 in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After moving around the country with notable stops in Anchorage, AK, Boston, MA, La Jolla, CA, and more, they built a life in Berthoud, CO, filled with laughter, faith, and family. Her three children-Emilee, Makenzie, and Camden-were her heart and soul, and she delighted in every detail of raising her children and believed wholeheartedly that being their mom was the greatest gift she had ever been given.

Cassie had a gift for living life to the fullest. She cheered the loudest at soccer games, many of which she coached. She packed up her kids for spontaneous road trips, showing them wonders big and small across the country and even the world. Holidays and milestones were never ordinary-Cassie filled them with crafts, laughter, decorations, and the kind of love that stays with you forever. Her bubbly personality and kind heart made her a friend to everyone she met.

Cassie is survived by her husband, Jason; her children, Emilee, Makenzie, and Camden; her parents, Catherine and Bill Conrad; her biological father, John Warner; siblings Jillian (Jason) Quinn, Dayne Conrad, and Drew (Camie) Conrad; her sister-in-law, Kanchana Warner and children Myles and Makyla; her grandmother, Noel Warner; Uncles John (Jenny) and Earle Aunts Connie, Beth, and Susan; her parents-in-law, Larry and Barbara Jones; sisters-in-law Jennifer (Derrick) Bowen and Melissa (Nathan) Sharp; brothers-in-law Alan (Lindsay) Jones and Garrett (Kayla) Jones; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her best friend and brother, Blake Warner; maternal grandparents, Ann and Jack Ballantyne; grandfather Earle Warner; and Uncle Carl Ballantyne.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2nd, at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 550 Spartan Ave, Berthoud, Colorado. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the service will be available at: https://zoom.us/j/94909451056. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe created for Cassie's three children: www.gofundme.com/cassandrajonesfamily

Still can´t believe it. So many memories. You were my first friend when I was married, this cruise was one of the best cruises we ever did! I got to hold Emilee all the time, and we got to spend so much time together, playing games, going to the beach and just hanging out. I miss those times so much. I hope it´s peaceful where you are, and you´re able to watch over your beautiful babies. Love you
