I can think of no worse fate than living an eternity with love lost. Its been decades since I knew Cass but still feels like yesterday. She forever changed my life.

Nothing is more painful in life than to loose a child. We are so very sorry. Many people will tell you many things at this time, take what you need for healing right now and shelf the rest. When our son died in an auto related accident as well someone told me something that helped me deal with it a little bit. Its not sympatietic just logical. If accidents happened slow there wouldn't be any." We believe that your daughter is in a wonderful place We never had the honor of meeting Cassandra but we have been blessed to have met Christy, Mike Sara and Ben. After reading about the wonderful soul she is Mike and Christy should be very proud parents. If there is something We can do to help your family, We would most sincerely like to try. Amongst several that knew her briefly, we had wished that we could have known Cassandra better; but in the short time that she had graced us with her presence we had gotten to know that she was a bright spot in an otherwise dim world. Her willingness to help others knew no bounds, such as her support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She also knew how to laugh, such as when she fired a shotgun full of processed cheese. I just hope that her spirit lives on, in all regards when it comes to enjoying the pleasure of others and doing what is right by all. She was a great person, and really deserves no less.

Cassandra was someone I admired, loved and always wanted to be like. Anything she did or said I did and said. I looked up to her and always wanted to be near her. She was always so easy to talk to and so much fun to be around. When we where growing up one of my favorite things to do was to watch her and my older sister Minda play Barbies. She could play barbies like no one else. She was the ultimate friend and she always thought of others before she thought of herself. Her smile would always brighten up a room. I always thought of her as an older sister and if I had my way, she would have been. When I found out she was becoming a graphic designer I talked to her about it. I had been struggling for a few years trying to decide what field of art I wanted to go into. She helped me make my mind up and now because of her help and her passion for the field, I will be starting art school, and studying graphic design in the fall.
