Cassie Elizabeth Dobson

Cassie E. Dobson, born on November 15, 1983, in Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, in Columbia, Tennessee. She was 41 years old.

Cassie grew up in Tullahoma, Tennessee, where she graduated from Tullahoma High School. Her love for the written word led her to the University of Tennessee, where she earned a degree in English Literature. This passion for literature became a guiding thread throughout her life's journey.

An adventurer at heart, Cassie's explorations took her to many cherished places, with Ireland holding a special place in her heart. She also lived in Pittsburgh and Knoxville, Tennessee, embracing every new chapter with curiosity and enthusiasm. Whether traveling to distant lands or hiking and camping with her father closer to home, Cassie found beauty and inspiration all around her.

After college, she began working at Barnes & Noble, where she met Michelle Abele-her life partner. Together they built a life filled with love and shared dreams alongside Michelle's children, Kyllean and Gavyn Browne. Later in her career, Cassie joined the Apple Store in Knoxville as a leader and mentor who uplifted those around her with care and compassion.

Cassie is deeply missed by her parents, Keith and Cindy Dobson; her sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Travis Brewer; her niece and nephew, Easton and Lucy; her partner Michelle Abele; and Michelle's children, Kyllean and Gavyn Browne. Her warmth touched all who knew her.

Cassie's remains will rest among her maternal ancestors at Liberty Grove Cemetery in Nauvoo, Alabama. In honor of her love for nature's splendor, those wishing to pay tribute are encouraged to plant trees in her memory.
