WaitressLAKELAND -- Miss Cassie Anne Greenwood of Lakeland died Wednesday (June 28, 2006) at a friend's residence. She was 27. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.Born Dec. 5, 1978, in Key West, Cassie was a lifelong resident of Lakeland. She was a waitress. She was a former Girl Scout and worked with Food Share, a food bank serving needy families in the area. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.She is survived by her father, Stephen R. Greenwood, Lakeland; mother, Amy T. Greenwood, Lakeland; son, Caleb Greenwood, Lakeland; sisters, Toni Beth Greenwood and Samantha Greenwood, both of Lakeland; brothers, Stephen "Sonny" Greenwood and Lucas Greenwood, both of Lakeland; grandfather, Calvin Greenwood; Hopkinton, Mass.; grandmothers, Ann Zumberis, Dumas, Texas, Ann Gallagher, Key West.Visitation will be this afternoon at 3 at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Socrum Cemetery. Lanier Funeral Home, Lakeland.
