Catharine Ann Wagstaff, 53 of Allentown passed away March 26, 2023 in Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, Pa. She was the daughter of Barbara Ann (Striney) Wagstaff of Allentown and the late John Tobin Wagstaff. She was a 1987 graduate of William Allen High School and later earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education of the Visually and Hearing Impaired from Kutztown University. She was a loving mother to Erin and Daniel MaInnes. She was fluent in sign language and taught Braille in Maryland and Delaware. Catharine volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America Minsi Trail, enjoyed cross-stitch, ice hockey, and collecting Pinocchio memorabilia.

Survivors:

Daughter Erin MacInnes and son Daniel MacInnes.

Predeceased by her brother William Wagstaff

Surviving siblings include Joan Farmer, Ann Wagstaff, Michael Wagstaff, John Wagstaff and their perspective spouses. Loved by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

Services:

Viewing Sunday April 2 6-8PM at the Weir Funeral Home 1802 W Turner St Allentown PA

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday April 3 10 AM Cathedral Church St Catherine of Sienna

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CHOP Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Cathy, her Dad, and her Mom were some of the nicest people we had the pleasure of knowing for many years. Catholic Boy Scouting made us a tight knit unit. She will be missed by many people in many walks of life for her love extended through her kindness and laughter.
