As Cathy's brother, I want to thank all that posted messages and thank all for their card and prayers. Cathy will be greatly missed, not only by her family, but more so by her students. She touched so many young lives that there are no words to express her love and carring for these young minds.

Cathy was a friend and school mate.
We had some good times. She's too young to go.

Cathy was a fellow teacher and a special friend. We had a lot of fun times together in Connell! She had a great sense of humor, and she loved to laugh! We always had a fun time laughing and working together. Cathy was an outstanding teacher, and her students will never forget her. I know I never will. Whenever I hear the words Cle Elum or drive by on I-90, I’ll be thinking of her. I’m just sorry that I didn’t stop by to see her when I drove by Cle Elum just a few weeks ago. I’ll miss her!!

I knew Cathy only a short time but was able to watch her blossom these last few months. She touched many hearts and will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

I worked with Cathy for almost 5 years. She had such concern for her students. She was a fine example of a teacher who went above and beyond the call of duty. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and we shared some good laughs together. I will remember her with fondness. Rose Murdock RN
