William R. Thomson

William R. "Bill" Thomson, 48, of Richland, died accidently Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009. He was born Thursday, Feb. 16, 1961, in Pittsburgh, son of the late William Dick and Shirley A. (Biernstein) Thomson. Mr. Thomson was an Auto Body Technician with John B. Lombardo's Complete, in Warrendale. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 45 at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center. Bill enjoyed outdoors activities including boating, quad riding, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty Lou" (Brennan) Thomson, of Richland. They were married April 16, 1994, in Westview Methodist Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Kristen E. Thomson, of Richland; son, William R. Thomson, of Richland; mother, Shirley A. Thomson, of Shaler; and sister, Shirley A. Benko, of Freeport. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101.
