My first memory of Kay was at the Lindenhurst Health club. She was a friend of my Mom´s. I have a picture of Mom and Kay at the gym. Also celebrating Kay´s birthday party at Wendy´s.

I met Kay at the health club. We had so many good times in class and when we were done we sat in the lobby and drank coffee. She was the best of the best always making us things and making us laugh. Every few months we would all go out to lunch. She will be sorely missed we all loved her. Rosemarie and Michael Grounds

My deepest sympathies to the family . I first met Kay at the gym . I was hesitant todo some of the exercises but came time and introduced herself and said "you don´t have to keep up with the class . Take your time and do it at your own pace " I thought that was sweet . She used to tell me about those Indian guys who worked for IBM and how they used to bring their own Indian food . ( I am from India ) She was very friendly and made you feel very comfortable . I miss her . RPI Kay . Love you . Kala

Although it has only been a year or so since I had the privilege of meeting Kay, her welcoming and friendly spirit made me feel as though we were friends for a lifetime. I loved her sense of humor. When there was a task at hand that she preferred not to take part in she would say, "Let's not, and say we did!" She truly enjoyed her "big cup of coffee" and deeply valued friendship. Her words, "Visiting with me is better than any medicine" was proof of that. It was a pleasure to sit and listen to her talk about her life. I am blessed to call Kay, and the entire Muehleman family, friends.

Kay was an inspiration to everyone she met. I had the privilege to be one of her instructors at the Health Club and we became instant friends. She was definitely the "mayor" of each and every one of our classes. Never let anyone walk in without introducing herself and making everyone feel welcome. We would go out to lunch and/or coffee weekly, and would also sit at the tables in the lobby and just talk. One time she was rushed to the hospital and I went to check on her, only family allowed in and I told the receptionist I was her daughter and they let me in. When I got back there Kay was shocked to see me but loved every second of the company! I would always have to remind dear Kay to drink her water and she would always tell me there was water in coffee! Never in my life have I been so impressed with another human being as I was Kay. I loved the times she brought her granddaughters Sunny and Charlotte to class. There are so many memories I will cherish forever. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know that Kay has earned her wings in Heaven and is reunited with her beloved Mel. What an amazing life and a special lady. I love you more, Kay!

Kay and I have been friends since I moved to Lindenhurst 18 years ago and the first day I attended fitness classes, I walked into a Zumba class and she came up to me and introduced herself to me-that´s the type of person she was-we became instant friends!
