Catherine Kwiatkowski Obituary
FREMONT: Catherine D. "Kate" Kwiatkowski, 84, of Fremont died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Rutherford House in Fremont, OH. She was born January 19, 1932 in Fremont the daughter of Frank and Bernice (Nadratoski) Kwiatkowski. Kate was a Ross High graduate and went on to work for Croghan Colonial Bank. She started her career with the bank December 18, 1950. In her 47 years she held various positions and ultimately retired as a loan officer.
She was a member of the former St. Casimir's Church and most recently Sacred Heart. She enjoyed visiting family and friends, puzzles, needlepoint and gardening.
Surviving is her sister Theresa Leite of Ann Arbor, Michigan; sister-in-law, Janet Kwiatkowski of Clyde, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Agnes and brothers: Frank, Edward, Stanley, James and Harry.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 3-7P.M. at Keller -Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, with visitation one hour prior to services beginning at 10A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. Chris Kardzis officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or The American Heart Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kkchud.com

Sincere sympathy to the family--my mom/dad were Seraphin/Eileen Gegorski--so I've known Catherine/Agnes for several years, having been a member of St.Casimir's Church--we were 2nd cousins on my father's side, I believe--both ladies were good/great people!! Prayers/thoughts to all!!

I will miss seeing Catherine in church always so friendly. She was a very active member of the Blessed Sacrament Confraternity , I was blessed to have her in my division. May you rest in peace Catherine.

It is with sadness we hear of Kate's passing. Kate was a dear friend of our Mother (Phyllis Markin) also resident of Rutherford House. We always loved to visit and laugh with Kate. Mom will miss her bingo, puzzle partner, lunch table gal and dear friend the short time she was there. We will ALL miss her smile and personality there.
